I replaced an aging Unifi AP-LR with a new NanoHD today. Given all the activity on the home and office networks with everyone working/schooling from home, it was time.
I got a dramatic improvement in throughput and the crew here is happy. I’m getting 200Mbps down through the new AP, switches, firewall, cable modem and Comcast now. Zoom meeitings work much smoother now. I may replace the AP-PRO in the basement too given how well this new one performs.
Only hitch… It doesn’t use the same mounting plate as the older units. I’ll need to do a little work in the ceilings where they mount. Grrr…
